Koo Yeonjoo and Choi Jinwoo are the founders of the clothing brand J KOO that launched in 2010. They both graduated from the Men’s Wear department of Central Saint Martins in London, where they have gained background in the traditional British Men’s tailoring techniques. They have incorporated their knowledge in Men’s wear to establish unique Women’s wear brand that mirror the tailoring techniques of Men’s wear that creates classic yet contemporary looks. Since then they are always a part of Seoul’s Fashion Week.

In 2014 the PERCHÉ X JKOO Collaboration happened creating trendy and affortable for three kinds of products. Ankle boots, slip-ons and clutch bags reflecting a classy and sexy style. A clever move was that  the slip-on shoes came in tone downed colors that fit with the fall season and the buyer was allowed for various styling to match any look.

Also in 2014 the brand collaborated with the singer / songwriter Park Hyoshin creating his merchandise and on stage costumes for his concert in Seoul.

J KOO was invited to the British Fashion Council International Fashion Showcase 2015 during London Fashion Week AW15. And J KOO won woolmark prize in Asia region.
