B.A.P are back after almost 2 years of being on hiatus going through hardships with their company for not getting their salary.
Check down below their new mini album and style!
After being on hiatus for almost 2 years going back and forth in the curt with their, still current, entertainment company with the salary issue that got out of hand they are finally back with their 4th mini album MATRIX.
Let’s all take a look at their progress, since debuting with the “WARRIOR” M/V releasing their first studio mini album that you can listen here in 2012 with their manly / badass style they took over the kpop scene debuting on Billboard’s World Albums Chart at #10! Before that though, their leader Bang Yongguk debuted as a solo artist with “I Remember“ that showed his powerful side giving us a taste of what’s going to come up once the full member group come out. Another one member that was introduced to the audience was Himchan that took over the MC spot of a music show program on MTV Korea, called “The Show”. Lastly, on November 23, 2011, Zelo, the third member from BAP to be publicly introduced, collaborated with fellow member Bang Yongguk, under the moniker “Bang & Zelo”. They released a song, titled “Never Give Up“.
Just before their official debut the tv series “TA-DAH It’s B.A.P“ started letting the fans get to know them better through challenges and simply them foolling around having fun. The show focused on how the six members play the role of aliens from a different planet who worked together to debut as B.A.P and invade Earth to help save their dying planet, Planet Mato.
In 2012 they came back again with the M/V for “Power” and their 2nd mini album that you can listen here. Power also debuted at number 10 on the Billboard World Albums Charts. Following up in the same year they released “No Mercy” M/V along with their 3rd mini album that you can listen here. On August 30, 2012, the repackaged version of the EP, renamed “Crash“, was released that you can listen here. The last release of the year was “Stop It“ along with the 3 track album that you can listen here.
In 2013 they came back with “One Shot” mini album that you can listen here and M/V showing their sound improvement getting No.1 on Billboard’s ‘World Albums’ chart releasing also a single M/V for “Rain Sound“ as a present to the fans. “Badman“ mini album followed up with more than one promoting singles and M/Vs for “Coffee Shop“, “Hurricane“ and the title “Badman“ one.
In 2014 where all the fucked up shit happened they released their 1st studio album called “First Sensibility” along with the M/V for “1004 (Angel)”. Upon its release the album topped the Billboard World Album chart proving their international popularity. In Korea, First Sensibility topped both Hanteo and Gaon monthly charts for February giving them the chance to win on music shows for the first time!
“Where Are You?” M/V and the mini album “Unplugged 2014” were released again as a present to the fans after their “B.A.P Live On Earth 2014 Continent Tour” that kicked off pretty nicely since it was the first time they went outside of Korea. After that the lawsuit came along and they didn’t renew their contracts.
And now they came back again at the end of 2015, after all these messed up situations, powerful as ever with their “Young, Wing & Free” M/V and their “MATRIX” mini album. The album has 4 songs and a special Monologue from Himchan. Despite their hardships the album is pretty much light with funky songs still not loosing their sound! If i had to choose a favourite track, except from the title one that rocks big time, that would be “Take You There” because Daehyun’s vocals are giving me life once again! I’m so excited that they are back and i simply can’t wait to watch them on music shows and finally having schedules!
